Here is a very special Buick Park Ave. This is a true sample of an unmolested survivor. This vehicle was pulled from a barn in Hobbs, New Mexico and traded in by the estate in Phoenix, AZ. The car has had a peaceful life in the rural areas of New Mexico since day one. The Southwestern desert sun has taken its toll on the paint and factory vinyl roof; however the interior is near flawless. This car runs and drives just like a 55k mile car should. Its a pleasure and commands lots of attention; a great car to preserve or commute in a classic!
The exterior of this car is absolutely rust free and all the panels are original. The glass is in good order along with all chrome and plastics. The paint is faded as to be expected for a southwest car of this age. The factory vinyl roof is also starting to crack and tear in the center. Four matching Michelin tires with great tread are mounted to the factory alloy wheels that are in very good condition.
The interior of this car is very special. The leather is inexcellentcondition with no rips or tears and extremelyminimaluse shown only on the drivers seat. All the leather is still soft, supple and rich in color. Both power seats work as designed along with power reclining feature as well. All power windows and locks, cruise control and tilt wheel are also in good order. The factory Concert Sound Stereo system worksintermittently; as the contact on the power switch seems to be shorted. The factory power antenna is in good order and operates as designed when the radio will power on. The factory digital climate control also works well with all vents and temperatures functioning well. The AC system is low on the original R-12 freon and therefore the AC compressor cycles on and off and the air does not quite cool as it should. An easy fix would be the addition of R-12 freon if available to you, aconversionto R-134a is a long term fairly inexpensive second option. The dashboard, door panels, armrests, handles and all interior trim are in very good original condition. Even the factory fiber optic headlamp, turn signal, running lamp and brake lamp indicators are working perfectly; a great little novelty of the time in american luxury liners.
Mechanically speaking this renowned 3800 engine is in great condition. It sounds like new and drives fantastic. We have installed a brand new battery, new water pump and coolant, fresh oil and filter, flushed out powersteeringand brake fluids, installed new premium ceramic brake pads and completed an overall inspection to round out our safety evaluation. This car is a true low mile vehicle and everything about it proves this. There are no leaks or issues and this car starts right up on the first turn. This car is fit for any travel, near or far!
