1972 Buick Riviera GS
1972 Buick Riviera GS Description
Listed is a 1972 Buick Riviera GS in very nice condition.Buick built 31,557 Rivieras for 1972 model year and only 2171 were the GS models. This one has the original engine and transmission and the posi-traction rear end with 3.42 gear.It was built with 60/40 bench seat and column shift. The paint color has been changed from Forest green to Vintage red and the interior was redone in the original color. The body, which is rock solid, was taken down to bare metal before paint.Car was originally from Montana and spent most all of it's life there. The paint is very nice but not show perfect. The engine runs very smooth as it should and the car rides, handles and stops great. It sat all winter and fired right up. Mileage is not correct because speedo cable is froze up between cruise unit and transmission.Previous owner said the car sat for years before he purchased it and I have probably only but a few hundred miles on it.No oil or transmission leaks. The wheels are as nice as you will find in original chrome.Tires have a ton of tread. The stainless trim is all very nice and the bumpers and the rest of the original chrome as well though not perfect. The glass is nice and the windshield is new.Weather stripping has been replaced with new.As mentioned before has all new seat covers and carpet. The trunk has been redone with original material and trunk board material. Only issues are speedo cable, horn relay (doesn't blow),needs tailpipes extended and doesn't have original radio. All in all, this is a rare 1972 GS that is a beautiful car to enjoy.Any questions feel free to ask.
This car is purchased as-is with no warranties.Buyer is responsible for pickup and transport of the car within a reasonable time frame.
