Thank you for the opportunity to sell my personal vehicle on EBay before taking it to a live auction. I wanted the ability for the buyer and seller to save on auction fees. This is my personal vehicle and selling it to pay for my daughter’s private school. My goal when I bought the vehicle was to restore it as a survivor. I personally love the age that comes with the car. Any part replaced was replaced with NOS parts, USA made parts, or parts from Russ Martin (king of Buicks). On the Survivor Scale, I would rate this Buick a 2-3 and only because it was repainted by the owner son.

What mostly grabs me about a survivor type of car like this one is the overall feel and sense of a car well cared for; displayed by the character in the paint, emblems, upholstery, etc. This “feels” like an older car… not a brand new restored car. I have kept receipts and details of how I kept up and cared for the vehicle.

Brief History

The car was purchase by Aaron Rose in 1965 in Beaumont Texas. Her son Larry had the vehicle and stored it in 2000 with Marv Chess in Houston Texas. In 2011, Larry Rose exchanged the vehicle in lieu of rent. I then purchased the vehicle from Merv.

Along with the documentation that includes the protect-o-plate, receipts since the purchase of the car are kept.

Paint & Body

First, the Body is straight and I couldn’t find and accidents to body panels when I had it on the lift. There are no replacement panels on the vehicle. The undercarriage is very original and unrestored. There is some surface rust to the frame.

The Paint is not the original silver cloud. It was painted some time ago with a two-stage paint. There are some chips and scuff marks due to wear and tear.

The Chrome is not perfect. There are some pitting and age that shows. There are no dents and is just slightly dull. All the emblems appear to be completely original to the car.

Motor & Drivetrain

The Motor and Trans are completely original to the car. The only thing touched on the Carter Carburetors, were the accelerator pumps, and gaskets underneath. The transmission was flushed and new seals replaced. The motor was refreshed by Merv prior to my purchased. I have the receipts to include the details.

Interior

The Interior is in excellent condition. The only thing new is the carpet. The dash was recovered by just dashes.
