Hello to all eBayers!I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I’m liquidating my collection since I’m selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place!... I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. I bought this vehicle with the intention of bringing it to California to add to my collection. This 1949 BUICK is located in a Copart facility in MENDON, MA. I tried to sell it on Copart, but this vehicle is a classic, (clean title vehicle). You can buy this vehicle on Ebay or through Copart by becoming a member. This vehicle has a clear RHODE ISLAND registration and will be sold w/ bill of sale as RI does not issue titles to older cars. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee.So this is a highly desired, one year only lovely black '49 Buick Super in running driving conditionThe Buick Super is a full-sized automobile produced from the 1940 through the 1958 model years (excluding WW II). It was built on Buick's larger body shared with the Roadmaster and was replaced by the Riviera in 1964. Dynaflow automatic transmission was now optional equipment on Supers in 1949. Cars so equipped had 6.9:1 compression ratio and 120 horsepower.MechanicalToo much done to list but briefly, recent brakes, rebuilt generator, new fuel pump, rebuilt carb, master cylinder, front shocks, replaced NOS, new period look wires, plugs, fluids drained replaced, updated electronic ignition, the head was done last year, blower fan repaired (the one in the air inlet tube at the front passenger right near the grill - basically these never work but this car's does!) Some of the pictures are old - for example the distributor cap is now different due to an updated ignition, and also the battery is new from last year and is the correct long thin type that belongs in this car. Some extra parts come with the car that was collected throughout the years. lenses, gaskets and some other sundries including the windshield washer bottle with the vacuum piece etc... that's worth like 300 on its own, just needs to be installed. It tracks well down the road, has good pick up, and a classic 40's way of taming the road.Exterior Shiny black paint that looks niceNice set of very low mileage Cocker wide white radial tires make this baby float! The bumpers front and rear have been re chromed. You know what that costs, like 3 grand! It comes with some other parts too such as extra re chromed door handles. Blinkers and lights work, brake lights work - new brake light switch, really its a pretty sweet car, very original. The stainless is all there and in extra, extra nice condition. The lenses on the brake lights and the deck lid are very nice, as is that at the front of the hood below the iconic gunsight hood ornament.InteriorThis car has the original interior with seat cover on the front bench seating area only as that area needs to be redone the rest of the interior is in great condition. The gauges all work as well as the 's a very pretty car, its complete and with some TLC from the right new owner this car will make you proud! Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase.
