1963 Buick LeSabre - Super Clean 4 Door Hardtop - Perfect familiy Cruise Night!
1963 Buick LeSabre DeLuxe Description
Really clean, solid good old girl we have owned and enjoyed for years. 401 "Nailhead" with dual exhaust. Drive as-is or detail to be a show winner. Could use some new tires by now - maybe a nice set of 2" white-walls? Starts on the first try every time. Perfect family cruise night car - which is how we have used it. Our kids are grown and my wife and I are looking for a two-seater. This car factory reinforced seat-belt mounting holes. I have the bolts but have not installed the seat-belts due to the new, O.E.M. carpet recently installed. I would put seat-belts in, but the new owner may choose not to cut holes in the carpet. The seats were both reupholstered by Top-Line Trim in Crystal Lake IL - they do outstanding work on everything from Model T's to Ferraris. The cost was $2500 for a complete rebuild - not just recovering - of the seats, with tied springs, new burlap, new foam and reupholstery. The only real rust was on the lower outside corners of the rear bumper - after nearly 4 years of searching for a good rear bumper, I finally found one. It goes with the car. The only chrome that had any pitting is on the driver's side headlamp surround. It is actually fine to look at, but it bothered me - so I have an NOS pair of them that go with the car. The 401 is the two-barrel version of the "Wildcat" motor - but I have a date-coded 4BBL manifold and correct, rebuild-able 4BBL Carter carb that goes with. This car isn't flawless, but as you can see from the photos it is truly nice. No floor pan or trunk pan rust at all, rock solid rockers/door sills/door bottoms. Please call with any questions - EIGHT ONe FIVE 900-8858 Tom. I am happy to coordinate with shipping companies, and I have occasionally sold a car or two overseas (although that was a long time ago). I know arranging shipping can be a real P.I.T.A. - so I am happy to store the car indoors for up to a month at no additional cost once it's paid for - but that's as long as I can hold it for no additional fee. I can accommodate inspections with some advance notice. Finally, I am not a dealer - just a hobbyist, probably like you. Please see my feedback. If you have no intention of paying for the car, please don't bid. I already have local interest in our Buick which is well-known in our town. Don't screw someone who really wants our car out of winning with a pretend bid that you have no intention of honoring - I wouldn't do that to you. Consequently, I will cancel bids with zero or lots of negative feedback unless we talk about it. The Buy It Now requires an immediate Paypal deposit of $500 - which is pretty modest, I think. The rest of the amount for either the winning bidder, or the Buy It Now purchaser is due within 7 calendar days after the auction closes - I can be flexible on this to some extent. Remaining funds due need to be an official bank check (Cashier's Check), or other certified funds. Cash is king, of course. Thank you for looking at our nice old car. Tom
