1987 Buick Grand National Grand National Description

This car is my personal pride and joy (aside from my family). The only reason I’m selling it is that I recently purchased a Grand Cherokee SRT8 (I know.......but I needed the backseat but I wanted to keep something fun)
I found this car sitting in storage about four and a half years ago. It had been sitting in a tomb from 1990 until 2013. Having looked for one of these cars for many years that was decent, I knew I had to grab it so I acquired it from one of my customers.
It is a very highly optioned grand national with only 34,000 miles on it with an absolutely flawless auto check, showing only one owner scoring a 41 on the scale of 20 to 37.
I have decoded the RPO sticker in the trunk, here is what I discovered as options
HATCH ROOF (t-tops)TWILIGHT SENTINELPOWER DR SEATHEADLIGHTS ON WARNING CHIMECONCERT SOUND IIDIGITAL DASHPOWER WINDOWSPOWER LOCKSTILT STEERING COLUMNELECTRONIC CRUISE CONTROLREAR DEFOGGERDUAL REMOTE CONTROL SPORT MIRRORSAXLE—- REAR LOCKINGPOWER ANTENNADOOR EDGE GUARDSFRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKETREMOTE TRUNK RELEASEREAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LINER
That covers the actual options I’m sure there’s much standard equipment listed as well.
Now for the condition of the car .....
It is 100% stock and 95% original. There is no part of the car that is absolutely perfect, These cars weren’t perfect when they were new anyway. All of the paint is original except for the decklid. The rims are original and have some flaws. The interior is original except for the headliner and the upholstery on the driver seat is starting to get rather frail. I’ve left this car as original as possible because I truly believe that’s the best way to keep them whenever possible. I basically spent many many man hours cleaning and shining things and did the bare minimum to make it a safe driver while maintaining its authenticity.
Here is a list of everything that’s been replaced on the car .......FUEL TANKFUEL PUMP (genuine ac deco)HEADLINER (abs plastic backed)BUMPER FILLERSTURBO (stock-original included with sale)UPPER DASH SPEAKER GRILLOUTER WINDOW SCRAPESSHOCKS, BRAKES, TUNE UP PARTS, ALL FLUIDS AND FILTERS
Here is exactly what the car needs done.....THE POWER ANTENNA MOTOR WORKS But the mast does not go up and down anymore so I just unplugged it, there is a brand new aftermarket power antenna that comes with the car but I never installed it.I have the original concert sound Il stereo unit that needs to be repaired. The horn button from ring has cracked but I will have that replaced by the time the auction is over. The driver seat upholstery will have to be replaced at some point but for now it’s still very presentable and again it is original.

This is an incredible car. It fires right up and drives great with great power. The tires have good tread but they are a cheap brand so they could be quieter and smoother. It has some flaws in the paint but none of them are horrible and certainly nothing unexpected of the 30 year old paint job. Everything seems to work as it should other than what’s noted above. The underside is incredibly clean and rust free. There are zero fluid leaks or any major issues of any kind.
I bought this car as a lifelong dream and planned on keeping it forever, so I did everything to be the way I wanted it to be. Many of these cars were raced and heavily modified, which is fine but not what I wanted. This car has the look and feel as if it were bought new and not driven much and well taken care of, to me, it’s the perfect car, ready to enjoy and tinkered with as you desire. It is most certainly an investment grade car.
This is not a fire sale I have no problem keeping this car it just doesn’t make any sense at this point for me to do so. If you have any questions at all please feel free to call or preferably text me at 941-720-0300. I will answer your questions on timely manner and with the same honestly I wrote the subscription with.
Due to the amount of cars I see being relisted over and over again, I request that you be serious with your desire and ability to buy the car.
Thank you for checking out my grand national and happy bidding!

I forgot to mention that this car also has the factory antitheft system.
Also please forgive all of my grammatical errors as I listed this car from my iPad, which seems to have a mind of it’s own sometimes.
