Beautiful, solid and very original 1940 Buick Special 2 door business man coupe. Scroll down for video:
This car was owned by the same person for many years before undergoing a very nice full restoration approximately 4 years ago. It has always been garage kept in sunny dry Southern California.
The paint shows very nicely throughout. This was not a cheap "quickie" restoration done to the car.The black is nicely done and shows very nice outside the car and in the jams as well. The door gaps are even and the body is very straight throughout.
The interior has been completely redone in the original style with non original material. The dash gauges and steering wheel all look like brand new as well and are all functioning (with exception of clock)
Underneath the car looks clean and detailed with solid floors and frame.
The Buick 8 Dynaflash is the original straight 8 engine that purrs like a kitten and is matched with the original 3 on the tree, 3 speed on the column manual transmission.
The wheels are 20" with245/35/20 tires that showlittle wear at all andwere custom ordered from Billett Specialties and are about the only thing not original on this car.
The carburetor was recently overhauled after sitting for some time.

Comes with front bumper mount yellow fog lights.
The car has a clean California title.
