Up forsale is a 1939 Buick Special 8. It is unrestored and has 60,306 miles. Very solid and clean. It will make a great driver or restoration project. It has been owned within immediate family for 30 years and rarely driven.
The original Straight 8 Dyna Flash runs strong. The “3 on the tree” manual transmission shifts smoothly. The vehicle tracks straight and true.
Exterior is in good condition and there are no dents or dings. The exterior trim is straight (less one missing hood “trim piece”).
The interior is in good condition. No rips or tears. The roof liner is sagging in the rear but can be repaired. The dash and moldings are in nice shape. Electrical functions properly. Steering wheel is cracked in several places.
Imperfections: Rubber running boards and window seals have dry rotted & need to be replaced. A couple windows have delaminated. It has been repainted once & the paint on the roof has peeled.
