Up for auction is a very nice 1971 Buick Skylark. This is a basically a original car with one repaint in its original factory color.
Vehicle is equipped with a 350-4 barrel, power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning, power windows, power tops, dual exhaust, rally wheels, day night mirror, remote driver mirror.
The vehicle was repainted years ago and there was slight bodywork done at that time. There is a little bubbling the on the bottom corner of the driver door. The paint is nice but there is some minor solvent pop, which is minor pimple like bumps in some areas in the paint that maybe able to be color sanded and buffed. The undercarriage is extremely solid with no rust.
The original interior is in exceptional overall condition. All gauges and light operate properly. Air conditioning was working but the compressor seized so the belt was removed. Everything else is still intact.
Vehicle has new brakes, new dual exhaust, battery, tune up, rebuilt carburetor, newer top. Vehicle runs and drives flawlessly and can be driven any distance with confidence.
Vehicle is a very nice solid driver. It is believed to have approximately 155,000 miles. The speedometer works but the odometer doesn't. The tenths turns but the mileage stays the same, so the vehicle is being sold true mileage unknown.
This is a very nice driver. Its a turn key car.
