This is definitely a rarevehicle. This thefirst year for the 455 engine and yes this is a REAL DEAL GS 455 convertible, not aphony. This GS has only been repainted once in its entire life back in the 80s, the paint is almost 40 years old, so it isdifferently showing signs of age, such as paint chips/cracks/scratches and very minor bubble rust that isviewable in pictures. The body is extremely straight and solid all the body lines and contours look good. All the body panels areoriginal to the vehicle. The interior has somenicks and tears butoverall its inprettyfarcondition. engine is notoriginal but is time period correct. Transmission isoriginal. The underside and trunk are solid and rust free the frame is straight.Convertible top is bad shape but it does come with a brand new convertible top and a few extra new parts. Time for thestory ofthis GS vehicle - has had only 2 owners since new. The second owner bought it in the mid 80's inFlorida then moved toTexas. Car wasdrivenquiteoften and was always babied until about 8 years ago one day the heater core started leaking so he pulled it in his garage, disassembled the heater core and it sat there since, I do the heater parts and will come with the car. sadly as of right now the car is not running engine does turnoverstrongly but does not start so it will need to be gonethru to get road worthy in my opinion I don't think it will take much to get it going again. Overall I would consider the condition ofthis GS as solid Survivor Driver quality, it has tons of potential to it, get it running and make a great weekendcruiser. These real GS 455 cars are getting hard to come by this is your chance to own a piece of one of thegreatest Buick muscle cars ever made. clear and clean transferableTexas title, for fastest responsepleasecall me at (832)-507-9556 my name is ace 1970 Buick GS 455 convertible for sale - YouTube Video will open in a new window Using the eBay App?
