A very solid start to a restoration or hot rod project, many new/NOS parts come with the car that are expensive to get, the running board rubbers alone were $800! Most of the rust you see is just surface rust, there are very few spots that will need replaced such as the bottom door skins, rear driver side lower rocker, the bottom of the rear window post and a couple small spots in the inner fender wells and the trunk weather strip area. we bought this several years ago and started hunting down parts for the car not sure what direction we were going to go as we'd looked at building a period correct hot rod or potential restoration given the car was originally black with tan/brown interior, the low production number of the coupes and low body number #5467.
Plus we had so many parts built up on it along with how solid the car was even the original wood. A lot of original pieces on the car that are hard to find like the original Artillery style wheels plus even have the hub caps! The rear leaf springs are impossible to find as they are the original steel wrapped leafs, Grills not too easy a find either or the original glass which i saved for templates along with the original glass for the front and rear lights, the front set has a set of NOS Guide rings which i was the first to install for these pics alone and those were not cheap either to get. The seat is out of a 36' Chevrole, nearly identical, but i also have the original frame and backrests from the 36 that go with the car. No engine or transmission.
The price is $14,000 based on condition, production, past sales and the parts that are included, or Best Offer, but we do not NEED to sell it either so I won't bother responding to low ball offers. I also do not need help sellin, i have plenty of experience selling my own vintage cars.
Buyer must make a Non-Refundable Deposit for $1000.00 within 24 hours, Buyer must make full payment within 10 days wether in person with cash or bank issued check or they can mail a cashiers check ahead of a pre-scheduled pickup. I will hold the car for 30 days in storage for free as i understand not everyone can just fly in overnight to pickup a car, after 30 days I will charge you $50 per month of storage. All funds once cleared are NOT refundable so make sure this is the one you want prior to payment. I do not do tire kickers or buyers who forget to ask their wives. If buyer is having a 3rd party pickup they will need to forward me the documents in advance so i know who is picking up the car and yes i can help with that as our place is not accessible by semi truck. Title and bill of sale will either be handed to you in person or via certified mail depending on how you are picking up the car.
