1969 Buick Skylark Description

Okay, here it is....
I am an ASE technician and automotive instructor at UTI in Bloomfield, NJ
My Uncle called and stated his best friend of over 50 years had this classic car in his barn that he has not driven in 16 years. So normally, I LOVE cars, but have several projects running now. So I asked what kind of car?
It's a 1969 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible!Rare Factory 3 on the tree Manual Transmission!
Buicks from 1968 to 1972 are my passion.
I've owned dozens, so I went and took the drive up in the mountains to see the car.
There she was in his barn covered. I took the cover off and looked at her. Smelled bad because it housed mice.(My daughter and I took 2 days getting the nests all out)They did not eat the wiring anywhere, whew!
I looked at the frame: MintI looked at the floor boards: MintI then looked at the trunk: Oh MY NEAR MINT! No holes anywhere. Then looked at dreaded fenders behind wheel well: No Rust!?!?Then looked at quarters: Again no rust.Looked at radiator support. Awesome shape!(Almost took it out for my 1968 Skylark. :)Just one small ding on passenger quarter from parking lot circled in scans.
He explained it was garage/Barn kept for 49 of her 50 year life.HOWEVER the one year he had it outside because the starter died, he had it outside with a plastic tarp on it.Unfortunately, the sun hit the plastic and melted it to the body on parts, so when he removed the tarp it took the paint off and left plastic residue. You can see in scans.
Other than that, no rust holes!
So I towed her home, changed the starter, changed oil, emptied 20 gallons of gas from tank. (I will have enough gas for my law mower for YEARS!), took the plugs out, put Mystery oil in cylinders, and hand turned the engine over several times and it moved nicely. I cleaned plugs, and the points, I purchased a new battery, used some starter fluid and on the 3rd turn of the key SHE ROARED TO LIFE!!

(NEVER seen a Buick with one!)Brakes: Manual 4 wheel Drum BrakesSteering: Manual SteeringSingle exhaustNon Air Condition carManual WindowsManual SeatsPower Convertible Top with WindowAll Glass is good all around.I took out the interior to clean out the mice nests.I HAVE 4 BUILD SHEETS I found in the car.One under the carpet, one in front seat, one in back seat, and one in upper back seat.
That being said it will need new interior front split bench seat covers, Door Panels, rear seat panels. The rear seats can be cleaned, but I would change them out to match front seats. Needs carpet, and glove box. The sills are in good shape. It needs a grille and the front bumper straightened. Bulbs here and there. The interior upgrade and paint will all that will be needed.
The convertible top is solid and the padding is okay.No rips or tears, but it's an older top.
This car has GREAT BONES, and it runs without a miss.
Radiator looks newer, and so does the water pump. The Alternator was changed to an internal regulator one. No more external voltage regular.
I also have all 4 original hubcaps and original spare with Bias Ply tires on Factory Rims.I also recently purchased 4 - 14x6 Rallye Rims that can go with the car.
What else can I write. I have too many projects, so I need this to go to a new home.
Any other information, please message me.
My price is based on the condition.Just needs some cosmetic stuff, and a bath. I cleaned part of the hood and it cleaned up nice. 16 years of not being washed. :)
