1937 Buick Business Coupe - Type 46
1937 Buick Type 46 Description
My father purchased this car in the late 1980's. It was his drive to show and show car. He and my mother would drive from near the mackinaw Bridge in Michigan to shows in Minnesota, Pennsylvania and other similar distances for a regular annual trip. Since he owned it the car was stored in a shed and NEVER driven on salt. The body is rock solid. He had some repairs done in Wisconsin in the fall one year. When snow fell before those repairswerecompleted he had the garage (an antique car aficionado) store the car until spring. I have had his trusted local mechanic start this car making sure the fuel and other fluids were in good condition. It runs well. The buyer can pick up with showing and touring with a bit of wax.
Mileage reported is the odometer reading. I have no insights as to its accuracy.
The last picture is a bumper bar. It is missing one bolt.
The upholstery is new based upon appearance and the fact that I have some of the trim material. That will be included with the car.
Vintage Michigan license plate also included.
