1987 Buick Grand National Description

Up for sale is a 1987 Buick Grand National. I purchased this car in March 2018 from the estate of the original owner and had spent its entire life in Dallas, Texas. It had been sitting and not started since 2003 in a warehouse with all the other cars in the car collection. The car was 100% stock and origina, no hit body, clean carfax and totally rust free with 65k miles on it. It is a rare factory sunroof car also.
When I had the car shipped back to Phoenix, AZ and before I even attempted to start the car, I replaced the fuel pump, boiled out the gas tank, replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, replaced the battery, converted the air conditioning over to R134A, and changed all the fluids. When we got the car running it had a bad mass air flow meter so ordered a LT1 mass air flow meter conversion kit from Kirban performance with a translator box(great upgrade for Turbo Regals) and then the powermaster brake system was not holding any pressure so we converted it to a conventional power brake booster setup(another great upgrade for Turbo Regals).
My original plan for the car was to make a White GNX clone out of it to replicate the X-ray GNX (google it) to park next to my real GNX. The bumper fillers were toast so I ordered a set of Spool Fool front and rear bumper fillers(the best and most expensive bumper fillers available), new weatherstriping, new window sweeps, sunroof seal, a set of GNX fender flares, GNX emblems, GNX dash plaque and GNX fender louvers. Right before I was about to paint the car, a friend of mine begged me to sell him the car, keep it Black and make a regular GNX clone out of it, so I did just that.
After I sold the car, my friend put a set of 18 inch replica GNX wheels with new tires on it for starters and then brought the car to the best suspension shop in town(Switch suspension) and spent $5,725 on a complete Ridetech coilover suspension system(have receipts). After the suspension was done he brought the car to one of the top Stereo shops in town (Sound Xpressions) and spent over $8,000 on a 2,500 watt competition audio system with three 12 inch rockford fosgate Competition Subwoofers in a massive box in the truck that ports directly into the car on the rear shelf behind the back seat. I used to be into monster audio systems and it has been a long, long time since I heard a system this loud, this clear and with this much tight bass. It shakes the walls inside my shop over 100 feet away.
All this work was done within the last 1,600 miles and some of the other upgrades are front L.E.D. parking lights, rear L.E.D. taillights, a complete custom exhaust system including a down pipe, cat delete pipe and a 3 inch cat back system. It still retains its stock computer chip and restrictive airbox so that could be the next round of upgrades for the new owner. This Grand National was just traded back into us on a show winning Impala SS we had.
