CMC is proud to present this one of kind 1968 Buick GS 400 that is easily one the finest Grand Sports available today, This car has benefited from a professional Frame Off Restoration. The car has only had two owners from new. The original owner held ownership until 1985 when the second owner (and her neighbor) purchased the car. The car is also a one off special order car with Special code #2. The car was ordered new with a 1967 GM Verde Green Metallic, which was not available in 1968.

Options from new include the Big Block GS 400 performance package, Turbo 400 Transmission, chrome rally wheels, Redline Wide Oval tires, remote side view mirror, bucket seats, center console Power Steering, Heavy Duty Brakes, Air Conditioning, tinted glass, Am FM radio, trunk mat, full chrome spare and redline tire, original Buick Floor mats, and jack and tools.

The restoration was a no expense spared Frame Off professional job. The restoration consisted of using as much NOS and new GM parts as possible. Original bumpers were triple chrome plated. The original stainless moldings were polished. Dash and gauges were all restored. The original Numbers Matching 400 engine has been professionally rebuilt with Kenne Bell Cam shaft. The original Turbo 400 Hydramatic transmission has been rebuilt with a shift kit. The suspension was rebuilt all new from the ground up. All new bushings and hardware, stainless steel Fuel and brake lines front to back, and stainless steel exhaust systemne, New Wide Oval Redline tires and Five chrome wheels. The restoration is correct right down to the T3 Headlamps. This car was so accurately restored that it scored that it scored 398 points out of 400 at the Buick Club of America National meet in Danvers, Ma. This is easily one of the finest GS 400's available today.

The car is documented with a photo book documenting the frame off restoration. The car has the original books an records. The car also won The Buick Club of America National Meet and many other 1st Place winnings at other Buick Meets.
