1963 Buick Riviera
I'm selling my dream car because I realize that my health will never let me finish it the way I wanted to. The 1963 Riviera was limited to an exclusive production run of 40,000 units. It was the only one of the early Rivieras to boast leather seats. There aren't many of these beautiful cars left today in any condition.
This Riviera is an Arizona car with a good title. It was a very good running and driving car until it developed a leak in the head gasket back around 2010. The head gaskets were professionally replaced, and the work of reassembling everything was started before my health and a move made finishing it impossible. The car has the original Twin Turbine automatic. I thought it was a 401 nailhead V8, but the repair shop said it was a 425 nailhead. I'm not sure which it is. Mileage is unknown.
The interior was custom finished about ten years ago and is pretty nice. Most of the chrome is also pretty nice. The car spent its life in Arizona and is a good candidate for restoration. It is not running and will need TLC. You are invited and encouraged to call with questions, and arrange to see it in person before you bid. These are the only photos I have, so please call if they do not answer your questions. The car is sold not running / as is, as it sits. You will be responsible for transporting it, I cannot deliver.
