1972 Buick Riviera Boat tail - HIGH END PROJECT
1972 Buick Riviera GS Description
$80,000 plus invested in this radical custom Buick Riviera Boat-tail. I brought this car up from California a few years ago as a project to finish when I retired. I have since had major health problems that attacked my muscles & nerves, so I'm forced to sell at a sacrifice price.$20,000 spent on the interior moulds.$20,000 on parts. Comes complete with just about everything to finish her off. Also have a parts car included at $1,000.00 with a 455 cu.in motor & automatic transmission. I was told the motor & tranny were rebuilt ??? I looks like it was rebuilt as I can see what appears to be new gaskets on heads etc. but can't guarantee. 4" binder with all receipts & pictures of the build to date. This will make a high end show car when finished. All the hard work has been done. Deduct $1000.00 if parts car not wanted.
First photo is the colored rendering that was the guide for the work that has been completed.Highly modified rust free body. Custom tilt front end, custom tilt hood, front fenders scalloped, solid metal lower ground effects down sides of body, have outlets for side exhaust forward of rear tires. Interior has been totally customized using wood frame, fibreglass molds, new dash with 6 gauges, hand shaped dash creating two front cockpits, custom fibreglass door panels, rear side panels, rear tray, 8' center console with openings for fibre optic lights.Door handles removed and smoothed over. Body was stripped of all trim, although I have all of the tri, all newly polished. The car needs to be completed by a competent fabricator. Thousands already invested into high dollar custom.
