1984 Buick Regal Description

This auction is for a 1984 Buick Regal 2 Door Coupe.
The 3.8 liter engine in this car has a loud noise at times but at idle its fairly quiet. We have not diagnosed the cause of the noise but it could be a rod.
The transmission seems to shift OK and there are no abnormal leaks from the differential.
The body and frame seem to be very solid with no apparent rust except above the doors on both sides. The vinyl roof is split in many places.(see pictures)
The cooling system seems to be leak free; the electrical system seems to charge the battery; the starter works well, o visible fuel leaks; the power brakes and steering work and the exhaust is not noisy.
The interior is relatively clean for a car of this age but there are some splits in the driver's seat and possibly elsewhere. The gauges work but the air conditioning needs servicing. The heater works OK.
The tires are not new but are probably serviceable.
The car has Pennsylvania safety and emissions stickers valid until the end of March, 016. It is titled in Pennsylvania; previously in Virginia.
This car can be the start of a nice restoration or can be a good parts car.
