Up for bid is a 1985 Buick Century Limited that was donated to the AACA Museum in 2011. It was used for a while to run errands here at the museum then was retired. The vehicle was part of a static collection so prior to putting it into regular use we would suggest that the car be checked completely.
EXTERIOR: The exterior is in great shape, vinyl top and all. It has a few veryminor surface rust spots starting at the bottom of the front drivers side fender but nothing major. The paint shines and there are no major deficiencies. Tires also appear to be in good shape.
INTERIOR: The interior is in great condition with just a few minor stains in the carpet and a small tear in the seat (shown in photos). The das, door panels, and headliner are in nice shape with no tears or stains.
DRIVETRAIN: The drivetrain is in good shape and runs well. It runs, drives, and shifts like it should and the AC blows ice cold. Anew water pump was installed approximately 500 miles ago. It is currently out of Pennsylvania inspection as it has expired.
This nice old Buick is more then 25 years old and is eligible to be shown at AACA meets and certainly make a good candidate for the HPOF Class( Historic Preservation of Original Features) and would make a great entry level or first collector car for someone wanting to join this fun hobby. Also 100% of the proceeds from the sale of this vehicle go directly to the AACA Museum.
The AACA Museum is located on RT 39 in Hershey Pennsylvania and is open seven days a week from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you are interested in seeing this vehicle please call 717-566-7100 and make an appointment.
