1967 Buick Special Deluxe Station Wagon Description

****1967 Buick Special Deluxe Wagon****
Mechanical:
This badass wagon has the drivetrain from a 2004 GTO so it now has the all-aluminum LS1 350 engine in it along with the 4L60E transmission. The engine starts right up and runs very strong.....it has a Comp Cam in it (.588 Lift & 228 Duration), Headers, Cold-Air Intake, MSD Wires, and the whole engine Wiring Harness/PCM has been replaced. It was tuned by RaceProven Motorsports and puts out about 375 Horsepower. The transmission has a 9.5" GM Stage 3 Torque Converter with a 3200 Stall, and the rear is a 10-Bolt Posi (I think it's a 3.42:1 gear ratio).
There are lots of new parts and parts that have been upgraded on this car......it has 4-Wheel Power Disc Brakes, new Front & Rear Sway Bars by UMI Performance, new Rear Upper & Lower Tubular Control Arms by UMI Performance, new Coil Springs, KYB GR-2 Shocks, new Gas Tank, all new Gas Lines/Transmission Lines, Motor Mounts, new Aluminum Radiator & Trans Cooler, newer Stainless Steel 2.5" Exhaust System with Hooker Super Competition Aero Chamber Muffers, and a new NAPA XDT Battery (1020 CA & 850 CCA).
Exterior:
The body and paint are both in excellent shape. The frame, floors, and rockers are all solid with no rust/rot......the body is straight. The paint shines well and the colors are turquoise and white, which actually were the original colors of the car.
All the stainless and the bumpers are in good shape, it has a nice custom-made stainless steel tailgate molding. Also added to this car have been a Gran Sport Hood, Grille, and Emblems.
17" American Racing Torque Thrust II polished aluminum Wheels all the way around with Riken Raptor 255/50/ZR17 Tires on the rear and Ventus HR-II 235/45/R17 Tires on the front. All of the tires have a lot of tread left on them.
Interior:
Most of the interior is original but the front seat has been replaced with 2 bucket seats taken from a late-model Volkswagon. (I do have the original front seat as well though) The back seat is the original black vinyl seat that came with the car. There's no rips in the seats, the black front carpet is in very good shape, all of the windows roll up & down with no problem, all of the windows are tinted, and there's a nice B&M Floor Shifter in the car too.
It seems like everything is working.......all the lights work, turn signals, horn, wipers, gauges, and heater. Air conditioning could be hooked up although more parts would be needed, but the Compressor is bolted onto the engine. The original Power Tailgate Window works......you just have to put the key in and turn it right for down or left for up.
There's a Sun Super Tach II tachometer on the column and 3 Sunpro Gauges (Oil Pressure, Volts, Temp.) mounted underneath the radio......all those gauges are working as well.
Overview:
Overall this is an awesome wagon that will turn heads......it's fast n' loud. It's pretty rare too since only 6,851 of them were made and there's probably not too many left these days. This car runs and drives great & it's ready to be driven. I do have the receipts for a lot of the parts, the paperwork for the cam specs, and even the original owner's manual & build sheet.
I put the maximum amount of pictures that Ebay allows on here which is 24 pictures so check them out......if you left-click on any of the pictures you can make them much larger.
