1963 Buick Riviera Numbers Matching Engine/Barn find
1963 Buick Riviera Description
A 1963 Buick Rivera with a matching numbers 401 Nailhead engine. The vin# matches the numbrs on the engine block. I have the engine taken apart and don't know much about the condition I purchased it as is with the engine taken apart, the previous owner said they were replacing the head gaskets and never got back to it. I do have the correct number #1196914 heads, carburetor and air filter holder, power steering pump, exhaust manifold, intake, a/c compressor and most brackets. The cowl tag says this car is a white exterior with white leather and vinyl and that's how the car is now, still in those same colors! All the glass is good! Still has original T-3 headlamps! I have the original key that opens up all doors, including trunk and ignition. The trunk is in great original condition as you can see in the pics. I just washed out the trunk and sanded with 220 to show it was good, you can tell where I sanded in the pics.
This car is VERY equipped: The Cowl Tag shows SU8 which means Power Windows and Power Vent Window.Power driver seatPower VENT window, very rare option.Power antennaePower windowsCruise ControlA/C CarRear Power WindowsTRUMPET HORNS! (VERY RARE!)Tilt steering wheel
Too much to list, I know I forgot something, so hit me up with any questions. I want this thing gone!!! If I don't sell this round, I will keep and sell during tax season when I know I'll get twice as much as this.
I have pictures of the COWL tag and VIN# as well as engine block cast #'s, I could not upload, so text me and I will send you those pics.
I planned on building it as I can only imagine how beautiful the white on white would be but I have another project that I need to focus on. I have attached as many pictures as I could let me know what other specific pics you want. There is rust around the car, but it's minor, remember it's 53 years old, around the rear back window and the front top of windshield is the worst parts. Once again the car is complete it's a good candidate for rebuild white on white what a beautiful car! This car was equipped with the power antenna and it has a switch inside and also had cruise control. It still has a trumpet horns under the hood which are very expensive! The driver door panel is off and I don't have the panel but I have some of the pieces for the door, like the Chrome still play where the buttons go. Please ask questions and I will try to answer as quickly as possible as far as transportation if you communicate with me I will try to set up for you here and transfer anywhere in the United States, buyer pays all shipping costs. Cash only!!
The car is located in Central Phoenix.
I've been having trouble downloading pics, so if you need more or have any questions, you can text or call 602-451-8157Phillip
