1964 Cadillac DeVille Description
I am selling my beautiful 1964 Cadillac deVille Convertible - last year of the iconic tail-fins! 41,xxx miles on the odometer, believed to be all original and correct. It's a great turn-key cruiser that starts right up every time, idles like a sewing machine, runs like a Cadillac should, and stops on a dime. Power steering and power brakes make driving effortless. The car was always looked after and maintained and it shows -it just recently went through a complete service last year where anything needed was done. Many parts were replaced such as the complete brake system (master cylinder, booster, lines, shoes, drums, etc..), complete ignition system (spark plugs, distributor, wires, etc...), carburetor rebuild, suspension update (new springs and shocks, tie rods, ball joints, etc...), complete convertible top hydraulic system (power motor, cylinders, lines, etc...), transmission service, timing chain, complete exhaust system, all belts, hoses, all fresh fluids, etc.. All the headlights work, as well as the tail/brake lights, turn signals, power seat, horn, etc...The power windows work flawlessly (except for the left rear - it is temperamental), and the power convertible top goes up and down with the press of a button. The body is in great shape with the rare Firemist Aquamarine paint showing little to no wear. The frame is solid and rust-free, the floor and trunk have some spots. The chrome and other trim are in very good shape as well with very few minor imperfections from age. The special-order Aquamarine leather interior is in beautiful shape with minimal wear. Carpets, visors, dashboard, door panels, etc. are all in good shape with minimal wear from use. The white convertible top material is in great shape as well. It also has the convertible top boot (cover for when the top is down), it fits nicely and does its job. The trunk is nicely finished with carpeting, and the original cardboard trim. It has the spare tire with the cover and the original bumper jack in the proper location.
Overall, it's a beautiful Cadillac that's ready to drop the top and go for a cruise across the country. Not a perfect show or museum car, but rather something you won't be scared to take for a drive and enjoy with the family. This is a NO RESERVE auction, meaning that the car will be sold to the highest bidder. Sold as-is. Feel free to message me with any OFFERS, QUESTIONS, or to COME SEE THE CAR in person before bidding.
