1950 Cadillac Fleetwood Description

1950 Cadillac Fleetwood project car. The car has a solid frame and except for the floors and spare tire aria in trunk the body is solid with very little rust. I bought this car with the intention of making it a custom but have to many projects so this one has to go. As anyone who has restored a car you run into things you didn't expect when you take it apart I think all the surprises are shown so here we go. The original motor had a bad block so it comes with a throttle injected 454 out of a 1990 GMC van with a turbo 400 trans. The motor and trans ran great when I pulled it I replaced the oil pump and valve covers I also changed the belt system to a v belt and replaced the water pump and alt. (all the surpintine belt stuff comes with it.) When I pulled the motor out of the van I also got the entire wiring harness including compute, fuse panel dash and lighting wiring everything is marked so I knew where it went. I also have both gas tank, radiators and drive shafts all go with the car. The pictures with the blue motor is the original 331 and that doesn't come with the car the motor with the chrome valve covers does. If your interested in making it stock I do have everything for the 331 including the original auto trans except the short block so I we could make a deal instead of the 454. The 454 is in the car with new motor mounts but not bolted down. I have the bumpers and all the chrome except 3 pieces and the headlight trim (bumpers and grill needs to be re-chromed I was just going to black them out.) The interior needs to be replaced it's all there but as you can see from the pics the seats are down to the springs but the frames are in good shape. The car has the original power seats and windows and everything is there (they run off a air compressor under the hood) I also included a picture of the trailer the parts are stored in Iused it for storage for about ten years the trailer frame is not in the best of shape but should make it to where your going if your not to far away I will throw the trailer in if you want it. The car could be a good custom without adding to much more money. There is no reserve on the car. local pickup only.
