1967 Cadillac DeVille Base Hardtop 4-Door Description

1967 Cadillac DeVille Hardtop 4 door with a 1972 500ci 8.2 liter engine and a turbo 400 transmission. Runs and drives but I haven't taken it further than down the street, does not smoke on start up engine oil is clean, no oil leaks other than valve covers from what Ive seen. Car had been taken apart decades ago for paint and the prior owner had health issues and wasn't able to finish it, this isnt hobby type primer and sanding, car is extremely straight and feels and looks like it has been block sanded extensively. As a painter it takes a lot for me to say "ready for paint" but this car is very close. Since assembly I've discovered it's virtually rust free, all the trim is with the car and in very nice shape. It does have a pin hole in the radiator and the transmission pan gasket leaks a little. I rebuilt the carburetor, put a new coil on it, new plugs and spark plug wires. It has new brakes, hardware and wheel cylinders, it stops as it should. Purchased new manifold gaskets but haven't installed. It's open manifolds at the moment but I do have the Y pipe and manifolds are in good shape. Bottom of the car is all factory white paint and the factory spots of undercoating. Right rear control arm has a bend in it but does not effect function. Has original cadillac keys with it and owners manuals for it along with the owners manual from the 1972 engine donor. Leather interior is in nice usable shape as is, driver seat does have a tear in it and normal wear, the rest of interior is in nice shape. Headliner will need to be cleaned. Door panels are in amazing shape and so is dash, no cracks or fading. I have the original set of steel wheels and hub caps in addition to the wire wheels that are on it. Wheels aren't in great shape but wide white wall tires have almost new tread. Perfect for mounting on steels and going back to hubcaps. Windshield is cracked, found replacements new for 300 plus shipping, all the other glass is very nice. Feel free to ask any questions I haven't already answered and I can add specific pics on request. Thanks for looking
