1952 Cadillac Coupe De Ville
1952 Cadillac DeVille Description
Very nice driver even better looker. Has a 1971 Chev 400 cu. in. small block rebuilt about 9000 miles agoand Chev 700r4 trans for highway driving rebuilt at same time.Just about everything works, power windows, seat, steering, all instruments and lights including turn signals and courtesy lights. Things needing correction are radio which was working until last time I hit signal seeking bar and now it just keeps seeking without settling on a station and tires which are bias-ply with a 1988 date code. Good tread on them but too old to inspire confidence at 60 m.p.h. One picture shows a 1952 original driveline which came out of'52 Cad sedan that I drove in before the motor and trans was pulledso I know it had no issues in motor or tranny. This is available for 2K over and above any bid price on car if someone wants to go back to original.( car is converted to 12v but motor is still 6v.) Chrome and paint are nice but are not show quality. Both were done in 1988 when car was restoredand now have minor scratches and dings that hardly show. Body is rust free (other than surface rust underneath). This is a solid #3 car and gets compliments wherever it goes. Dual exhaust give it a rumble sound. A/C evaporator is still in car and compressor, all mounts and condenser can be put back on (system was on the '57 Chev the motor and trans came out of) but never was reinstalledbecause hoses did not connect when motor was put in Cadillac, so new hoses and drier and relays are all that's needed to get that going. Starts easy, shifts right, runs cool. Vintage license plates do not go with car . 1950 Cadillac 1951 Cadillac 1952 Cadillac 1953 Cadillac
