Cadillac's Allante was designed and built in Turin, Italy by famed coachbuilder, Pininfarina, available from 1987 until 1993, the finalmodel year.There were 3,101 examples built in 1990. This is a well-maintained1990model in hard to find light blue metallic withremovable aluminum hardtop,and cloth soft top. The interior is original and ingood condition, showing the10-way power-operatedleather recaro seating, digital dash, and power amenities.The drivetrain consists of the original 4.5 liter 200HP V8 & Automatic Overdrive transmission. We have receipts for major work performed in recent years including a complete air conditioning system overhaul, front & rear strut replacement, and a brake system overhaul. The aluminum auxiliary hardtop was available as an option for 1990. These cars were priced at just under $58,700 for this model year.

The body lines have Pininfarina styling cues, however the drivetrain is straight out of Cadillac / GM. The 1990 model year Allantes are powered by the robust 4.5 liter V8 rated at 200 horsepower. This example is original down the 16-inch alloy wheels.

The interior showcases original leather-bound recaro 10-way bucket seating along with electronic climate controls and digital dash instrument display, all functional.

The upholstery shows well with some color discoloration in certain lighting on the seats. There are no tears or excessive wear.

Headlamp washers are standard equipment.

The convertible soft top has been seldom used and is in excellent condition.

The body is very straight and the finish gleams. This is an attractive car.

The trunk is clean and detailed, complete with the factory spare tire/wheel & jacking equipment.

Under the hood is the 4.5 liter fuel-injected horizontally-opposed V8 factory rated at 200 horsepower & 270 ft-lbs of torque. This torque was at that time the highest torque of any front wheel drive automobile in the world. Standard features include power rack & pinion steering and a hydraulic ABS 4-wheel-braking system, recently overhauled. The air conditioning system also underwent a major service/overhaul in 2011-2 with receipts.

The undercarriage is indicative of a dry climate car throughout. We have receipts for both front and rear strut replacement.
