1968 Cadillac DeVille Description

This magnificent car is an AACA Grand National First Place winner. I first saw this car in the early 90s in the Louis Jenkins collection in NorthWilkesboroNC and would never forget it. Mr. Jenkins scanned the United States seeking outand buying extremely nice low mileage cars for his private collection of the best of the best Cadillacs and Buicks. This car was the nicest in his building. Mr Jenkins showed this car all across the US and won 12 other AACA Junior, Senior and Preservation awards from Haiwasse GA to Tucson AZ.When Mr. Jenkins died his heirs sold his cars and this one ended up at a classic car dealer in Charlotte. I just happened to see it and I realized this was the only chance I would ever have to buy a brand new 1968 Cadillac.I planned to drive this car as my regular every day car but soon realized what atravesty that would be to do to a car preserved at this level for thislength of time. This car is athrill to see in person. It's paint glistens and the the flawless interior is breath taking. When you open the door you aregreeted with the fact that it still hasthe new car smell! This car can sit for months and crank right up and purr smoothly remindingyou its the new car that it is. The windows and doors seal tightly and this car silently floats down the road like no "restored" car ever could. You could spend $100,000 restoring a car like this and it would still just never compare. These photographs do not do this car justice. When you see this magnificent car in person it's just hard to believe a car can be this nice. All the windows, lights, seat, radio andeven the Climate Control work as they did in 1968. This car has been featured in a calendar and several magazine articles. There will be nothing about this car todisappoint you. Please email me for morephotos and the details of the shown it has been in.
