1977 Cadillac DeVille Description

Up for auction is a car that you will never come across again. This 1977 Cadillac Coupe Deville has been transformed into a work of art. All the painting was done by a local artist in St. Louis who spent years detailing the exterior of this car. The custom job on this Cadillac is absolutely amazing. The layers of airbrush work is unbelievable and I couldn’t imagine what it would cost if you had to pay for this work to be done. This car comes with all the original chrom, Original floor mats, the car has rear tire skirts which are amazing. The exterior of this car is an absolute piece of art. The inside has new carpet that has never been attached. The interior also comes with the original seats that need to be attached and it has all the interior trim pieces only missing the headliner. The original headliner will come with this car but I would recommend replacing it. This car has a one-of-a-kind flip open hatch in the rear trunk that was made from a vintage washing machine and retrofitted with fiberglass to make it look like it was meant to be there. Also from another project were the rear fenders and front scoop that all came off a vintage racing boat. The fiberglass work is done professionally and looks phenomenal. This Cadillac has been stored inside for the last decade in a climate controlled warehouse. The trunk of this Cadillac is clean, the interior floor boards are clean, the door panels are clean and everything looks to be there. I purchased this car from the collector who originally did the artwork along with a few other cars and I am having to let this one go due to space. This car was driven into the artist shop and parked while he did the exterior of the work and then sat unstarted for the last 10 years. Whom ever purchases the car Will need to go through the fuel tank and fuel system and I would imagine do the brakes and what not. I am selling this car as is because I have not attempted to start it. I don’t want to mess it up with the old fuel and no battery. The speedometer shows only around 70,000 miles so there is a lot of life left on this engine. The sticker under the hood says this is a 500cu inch engine what a beast. This car has so much custom work and is very close to being completed and would make one heck of a showpiece and guarantee you a winner at any car show. Comes with a set of keys and bill of sale. I will list a link to many photos so you can see all the greatness this car has to offer. This car has only been washed with soap you water and seen daylight once in the last decade. The paint on this car will absolutely pop with a great detail job along with all the chrome which should shine up to a mirror finish. I hate to get rid of this but the wife says “no” - too many kids and not enough space. If you are from out of town or out of state the car will be shipped at your expense and I will help with the loading of this vehicle. The buyer will pay fees to ship but I would highly recommend if you’re around or anywhere near St. Louis to come take a look at this beauty and you will flip your lid at how awesome it is. I also have this for sale locally so can end the auction at anytime if a local buyer is interested. I have set a very low reserve on this car because if it does not sell I will do the unimaginable and part it out because all the components of this car are in absolute excellent condition. If you don’t like the custom work get a new trunk and hood and you have one heck of a straight Cadillac but why do that when you have the rarest and coolest Cadillac Deville on the planet. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hours of auction ending. The rest will be due upon pick up or arrangement of shipment of the car.
