1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible Description

The one you've been waiting for is right here and ready to go.An original barn find from Kansas with title from original owners family. It was purchased new from Bulger Cadillac in Wichita Kansas This is the most sought after color combination in the Cadillac sixties era. When this car is completed, you will have a very special automobile.I searched for this color combo 1962 for over 7 years, when I located it, I just had to have it.The original turquoise finish is still on all the panels and the all parts of the inner body. There is no evidence of a repaint. (other than the white primer sprayed by the previous owner)The white leather seats are all complete, they would have to be completely recovered.Original white hides would be great to be found. The car is fully optioned.Factory AC, Autronic eye, power windows, power brakes, cruise control. The Engine: original Cadillac 390 ci.The previous owners daughter stated that the vehicle was parked to be restored. There is no known issues with the engine. but I can't guarantee that.I was told that it will run with a gas can, however I never tried it.All exterior and interior pieces are in the trunk. They were removed to start the restoration.since my ownership, it has stayed in my garage. This car needs to be completely restored.Needs a new top, windshield, paint job, tires, brakes, a complete interior re-do, possible drivetrain overhaul, etc...There are no warranties implied. Before you bid, have an expert come by and look at it.It is in my garage at my home in Fort Lauderdale, FLI will make myself available at your convenience. Please look at all the photos, I would be glad to send you more if you would like.
I am unable to start this project, due to an injury I sustained to my right arm last year.My other car for sale is a 1968 Eldorado. That's another cool one.
