1985 Cadillac Eldorado Description

For sale is a very original 1985 Cadillac Eldorado coupe with the Landau roof. The car is solid with no rust, has been garaged its entire time. Underneath is also very clean with only very minor surface rust. The car has only averaged less than 1700 miles per year! The rubber seals are still in great shape as is all the chrome trim. OriginalCadillacfront, rear and trunk mats in very good condition. The front bumper has some spots but still presentable. Exterior paint is all original and in decent shape. As with any 30 plus year car it has some nicks, there is a impression on the hood and a small crease on the lower passenger side before the rear wheel. The AC works but is temper mental; I haven’t had a chance to go through it. Everything else works fine down to the electronics and fiber optics for all the lights. The car rides very well, starts right up every time. It just passed the Massachusetts annual safety inspection in March.

While I owned the car I replaced the front rotors and pads, all new body filler pieces front and rear. I also replaced the headliner and recently replaced all four tires with new Vogue white/gold stripe tires. I also have the body and service repair manuals, original owners manual and misc. documents, original window sticker and build sheet plus both sets of gold keys.

PLEASE NOTE- This Cadillac is in very good condition and all original however it is a 31 year old vehicle and sold in AS-IS condition. Please feel free to ask all questions. Buying a classic vehicle should only be fun so please come or have the car inspected. I tried to cover everything in the ad but nothing beats actually seeing the car. I’ve made a few car purchases on eBay and for the most part have been very satisfied; I want the next owner to also be happy with this purchase as well. Added Note:I had a question about the car color; it looks almost black. Pictures were taken with overcast skies. The car color can be seen with the underside of the hood photo. If anyone is interested I have some photos of the underneath of the car that I can emailon request, eBaylimitspicture count to 24 so they didn't make the ad. Also asked about the front axle boots, they are in good condition with no cracks, appears to be good solid rubber, also shown in photos if interested. As far as repair items I would plan on AC to be recharged and checked out, also noticed the power door locks aren't working. I never locked the car as it goes from my garage to my office and back in the couple of years that I've owned it. The power antenna, radio/cassette, trunk pull down, windows, mileage computer etc. all working.I bought it from the original owners family from a member who inherited the car. The original owner had it for close to 30 years.
