Up for auction is a 1955 Cadillac Convertible… This car was restored and transformed from red to pink in 2003 for use in the movie “Elvis Has Left the Building” starring Kim Basinger. The car was from Corrales, NM at that time.

I purchased this Cadillac from a local doctor who owned the car for the past several years. It has been garage kept and well maintained since the restoration… and other than a few nicks in the paint and a crack in the passenger side glass, it is in very good condition.

The body is rust free and solid underneath as well. It is a straight car down the sides as you can see in the pictures and the video. The car runs, rides and drives great and it is a real head turner for sure.

The engine is a 70 Cadillac Eldorado 500ci 8.2 liter. It is a 5200 high compression block with the two drain plugs in the oil pan. The transmission is a turbo 400 automatic. The car runs great with no issues.

The interior was restored to white in 2003 also. All of the lights, turn signals, and gauges work except for the gas gauge and the factory radio. It has power top, power windows, and poser seat all working. The carpet was not replaced in 2003 and it is faded.

It is an awesome car and it gets all the attention at the car shows. It’s not perfect but it is very good. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
