This is a collection that took 70 years to comprise. Most have the original paint and original California licence plates issued to them when they were new.

Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1966 Cadillac Hardtop Deville in Antique Gold. This car was sold new at Pat Patterson Cadillac in Oakland, California and has spent the last 53 years living in the mild climate of Oakland, CA. This car is in great original condition which is a testament to how it has lived its life. The Cadillac was used as a family car for a few years before it was locked away for the last 39 years. It has not been registered since 1980 and still has the original black Californialicense plate that were issued to the car in 1966. This car is a fantastic example of a proper 1966 Cadillac hardtop sedan Deville. Being that it is a Cadillac, the build quality is higher than most cars of its time enabling this 66 Deville to age like a fine wine."The Standard of the World"
Cosmetically this car is in good condition. The body is straight and has no rust issues. The paint is not original, and has been repainted once the original Antique Gold. Because the car has been stored for the last 39 years the paint could use a nice wax and buff and will shine like it should. As you can see in pictures the paint has life and can shine. All the chrome is in good shape and shines nice. The lights are all original and are functional. All the glass is in good condition with no cracks. The car is missing nothing except one "Sedan Deville" emblem other wise is it is complete and in good shape.
Mechanically this car is a runner. The 429 starts up and runs good. The transmission shifts smooth in all gears. The brakes work as they should. This car has been stored properly for 39 years. There are no noticeable leaks. The AC unit still has factory quality controlstamps on it.
The overall interior of this Deville is in great shape. The dash and instrument panel are in great shape, there are no cracks and everything shines nicely. Nothing is missing and nothing has been replaced. The seats look great and are Cadillac comfortable. There are no tears in the seats, the only negatives are a few liquid marks on the front seats that can be cleaned out. The door panels look great, again nothing is missing and there are no imperfections. The carpet is in good shape for 53 years old. The headliner is essentially perfect, no tears no sagging. Everything is functional except the one of the back windows does not consistently go up and down.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY:

• All shipping charges and arrangements are buyer's responsibility. I will make vehicle available to third party shipping company hired by buyer but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage.
• Licensed carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our location. Any claimsor other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with seller.
• The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier. Verify with the shipper for an estimated time of arrive to be sure.

FINALIZING YOUR PURCHASE:

• I will contact the successful high bidder by email after the auction closes.
• Successful high bidder MUST communicate with seller through eBay within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicles or sell to any other qualified buyer.
• In order to secure bidon vehicle, successful bidder (buyer) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to seller a non-refundable deposit in the amount of $500.00 via PayPal. Within 72 hours of bid closing, buyer must send balance of funds by bank wire transfer, cash in person, or bank certified funds to seller.
