We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car. If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on it because they now own the car. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 970-300-1020. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final.
Thank you for looking at our 1990 Cadillac Fleetwood 4-door. By now I know you've seen some of the pictures and the car really is in excellent condition, especially for being 29 years old. There's also a whole load of pictures on the Flickr at the bottom of the ad you can look at. The guy who had this car did not drive it in the winter. Not saying its never been driven in the winter, but if it has, it was a long time ago, and very rarely.Even my mechanic was looking at the car and he said he couldn't believe the condition of the car, especially the chrome. He mentioned that the chrome that goes around the rear windows never looks as nice as it does on this car. When I brought the car over to him for repairs (the car has been sitting for a couple years not being used), he repaired all the brake lines, gas lines, put a new battery in it and much more. He said it took him 3 days to complete the work. I had to replace it. The car is now ready for the road.
I think this color combination (black and silver on outside with red leather interior) is absolutely stunning. The vinyl roof on this vehicle is in excellent condition. I'm even going to say, which is something I'd never say about an older car, is that I don't even see a mark on the body that's noticeable, and we believe all the paint to be original. Underneath the vehicle, of course there are a few rust spots you can either rust proof over or clean them first, paint and then rustproof. But what I'm selling is an original car, not a car that's been reworked.
The radio system is old and it will have to be updated. The only function inside the vehicle that does not work is the tilt switch on the driver's seat, which is broken. It's located on the left side of the driver's seat when you're sitting in it. There's two of them presently available on eBay for $15 each. The switch pops in and there's two screws that hold it in. I would replace it, but if the switch doesn't show up on time, I don't want to sell a car that's incomplete with a promise that the switch would be in. If you have a chance to come out and drive this car, you definitely know that you're "King of the Road"!
