1964 Cadillac Fleetwood Description

This is really an amazing car. She has passed state inspection and is on the road. She is a 1964 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special, last year a Cadillac had tail fins and the first year for the 429 Cadillac engine. The car measures roughly 18 feet 7 inches long. Being a California car it is a really clean and solid. The chrome is in really good shape. I do not have all the documentation, but as far as I know while in California the car was used in the movie “Catch Me if you can” Leonardo DiCaprio drove it while Christopher Walken sat in the back during one scene. Just google “Catch Me if you can Cadillac” and see for yourself. Have done everything I could think of to make the car a reliable driver. It has drum brakes front and back with plenty of life left. The front end parts are all tight. Installed is an air ride system on the car that consists of: SS7 airbags all 4 corners, Accuair eLevel management with an Endo-VT tank, and Ezairride brackets. The eLevel management saves three adjustable heights. The air ride system was around $3000 in parts alone. The 429 engine has been painted with the color correct Bill Hirsch Cadillac blue paint. I have a Retro Sound Hermosa radio for the car that I never got to installing that I will include by placing it in the trunk. The Hermosa radio has Bluetooth, USB ports, and AUX ports all while retaining an original looking radio. Although it’s a beautiful car it is not a top show car. It has some issues that still need to be addressed that have Not prevented me from enjoying the car. There are minor dents in the left front fender, left front door, and the right side fender skirt. The car has been repainted and there are some chips in the paint (No rust). The dash is badly cracking. I am including in this sale an original dash with cruise control knobs and glove compartment door that is in good shape. The HVAC system is not working. I have removed the A/C compressor and condenser and will include them in the sale by placing them in the trunk. The car has a cruise control unit under the hood. The Autronic Eye for dimming the bright headlights does not work. All lights and blinkers etc work and passed inspection. There are some small fluid leaks. So again the car does need very little work to be a prime show car, but is a very fun cruiser with an interesting history. This car turns heads!!
