1959 Cadillac S&S Hearse Victoria Description

The Vehicle
Here is rare opportunity to purchase my 1959 S&S Victoria Cadillac electric 3 way Landau Hearse with Hydraulic leveler !
This vehicle was the most expensive hearse you could buy in 1959, i have had other hearses and the build quality of the S&S is far advanced than Miller Meteor and Superior from the same period.
I imported this Vehicle to New Zealand from Los Angeles in 2007, it started life in service at Fresno Funeral chapel in Fresno CA in 1959, it remained in service until the early 80's when it was parked with 58,000 miles. it was sold to a local resident who stripped the Hearse to bare metal and it sat in that state until the late 90's when a Gentleman from Napa Valley purchased it and there it sat until i purchased it in 2007.
The vehicle has been gone through mechanically replacing all fuel and brake lines,shoes,cylinders steering bo, ball joints bearings seals and associated componentry. The engine has not been rebuilt but it is a good runner. The transmission shifts smooth and correctly as it had 58000 original miles on the Hearse when i purchased it. this Hears e will drive anywhere and is mechanically sound and reliable - NZ has a very tough vehilce testing regime whiche vehicles are put through every 6 months.Vehicle has had a New correct L.O.F Windscreen which i purchased from Pilkington classics in the USA in 2007 ( apparently one of the last made) and all new EZ eye green tinted glass all round.The front seat has been re-upholstered in correct style and with cool vintage checker silver paneling, the rest of interior needs full restoration but i purchased enough fabric black and Silver to complete the whole interior. I also have all original door cards and trims.The electric 3-way table has been gone through and the motor reconditioned. it is now reliable and operates as it should. the Table is in fantastic condition for its age and is complete.the drivers fender is wrinkled however i have a rust free replacementwhich has been dipped and epoxy coated so just need paint that comes with the car.The stainless side moldingtrim is newly fitted on the car and is immaculate- note i have left the driver fender moldingoff as i was gong to replace the fender.
Has full 2.5 inch twin exhaust with glass packs and flow masters. the Body condition is excellen, i purchased the car in bare metal and have just premiered and shot a quick coat of Flat black lacquer on the vehicle when i got it - this is getting a bit tired (but i like it)
Has a near new set of Coker classics Bias ply Wide Whitewall tyres.
The body is 99% rust free,it is all original steel un-molestered and never repaired what you see is what you get. it is satin black lacquer which is showing its age, however there is absolutely no rust in the floors or inner sills on this car! (unbelievable and they have never been repaired) - being a California vehicle all its life and it has to be the best condition 59 metal wise that i have seen. there is some slight bubbling in front of the wheel arch on the drivers side that will need cutting out and replacing but that is it!.
Would be very easy to make this vehicle an absolute mint vehicle if thats what your into.
