ONE OF A KIND !!! ELDORADO STATION WAGON FACTORY ORDERED in 1975
1975 Cadillac Eldorado Description
Rare and unique. Want something that NOBODY else has? This is it.
Ordered from Franklin Cadillac in Cincinnati, OH in 1975 (at a cost of $10,000 OVER what an Eldorado Convertible was costing at the time) this car was taking from the assembly line and brought to a Cadillac/GM factory authorized customizer for conversion into this beautiful and distinctive 8 passenger Station Wagon / Shooting Brake and then brought to the dealership for delivery to the customer with FULL FACTORY WARRANTY !!! (similar to the beginning of the Callaway Corvette shipments for a few years, or the initial relationship between Mercedes-Benz and AMG)
From the back seat forward it's a stock 1975 Cadillac Eldorado, two beautiful leather bench seats, FWD transmission, 500 cu in carb engine, and all the power accessories you'd expect to find in any 1975 Cadillac Eldorado. But behind the rear seat is where all the magic happens ! There's a divider behind the second seat, and rear of that is a folding 3rd seat ALA Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser or Chevy Caprice Wagon of the day.... this rear-facing 3rd seat also folds flat into the floor for ease of cargo loading.
This car has 54,xxx original miles, runs great, transmission, tires, brakes, etc all work as they should. AC is still R12.....even the factory 8-track stereo still works. Original on the outside too... original paint and everything (the front fillers have been replaced). Original vinyl top is in AWESOME condition, no rips, tears, splits, bumps, etc. Get in and drive anywhere ! I'd suggest some car shows where you can amaze everyone who never heard of this car's existence. There were 2 made in 1975, and somewhere between 8-10 cars TOTAL 1968-1975...
Car available for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction early. ALL BIDS ARE FINAL AND BINDING !

Car located on Long Island, NY. Shipping not a problem, you pay for that obviously.
Many forms of payment are OK with me, but I keep the car until the payment is clear. Clean title is in my name for many years...… I'm a private collector not a dealer.
I WOULD consider a trade for something of equal value that piques my interest.... let me know what you have.
There's a reserve on the car reflecting it's value as a one of a kind factory-ordered coach-built car that's so much rarer than anything you can name over the last 50 years....compare to the production figures of the San Remo, Opera Coupe, Demarchand, Chicago Deville, Milan, LeCabriolet, Talisman, Phaeton... you pick whichever one you want, do the research, you'll find DOZENS or HUNDREDS more of those were made than this special wagon. Heck there were tons more Sedan Deville and Fleetwood RWD wagons made than the Eldorado 2 Door FWD wagon.
