1959 Cadillac Flat Top. This is a nice running and driving 59 caddy. If you are reading this listing then you most likely know about 59 cadillacs already, so I will get down to what you want to know. NO reserve, so bid to win.
It has had a repaint at some point in its life.It runs, drives and stops good.The seats have been recovered at some point in time.New carpetNew Dash padNew CarbNew weather stripping around the roof railKelsey hayes wire wheels with new coker white wallsIt has been lowered a couple of inches but it did not hurt the rideWonder bar radio still works correctlyPower trunk worksPower windows work, the vent windows do not work
The following are items that need some attention:It is an AC car, but it does not work, everything appears to be there thoughSmall rust bubbles as seen in photos, not enough for me to worry about fixing though.If the car sits for a while it does have a transmission leak, seems to be common on any 59 caddy I've hadThe power door locks work sometimes, but not all the time. I haven't had a chance to look into it.The seat upholstery is not factory correct, but door panels and headliner appear to be originalIf you hit the brakes hard it sometimes grabs hard to the right, but not everytime. The front brakes just need some adjusting.The cluster needs some attention. Speedo works and fuel gauge. But that’s it.
All in all, its a nice running and driving 59 caddy. It starts every time without hesitation even after sitting for a couple of weeks. I'm not afraid to get in it and cruise. Flat tops continue to increase in value every year and gain popularity. It is not a perfect show car, it has a few knicks here and there, but its not a perfect 59 cadillac price either.
