THE CARS PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A FUNERAL DIRECTOR WHO SUPPLIED 3 CARS FOR THE GODFATHER MOVIE.
A 1956 FLOWER CAR, A 1956 CADILLAC LIMO AND THIS 1954 IMPERIAL LIMOUSINE.
I HAVE THE PAPERWORK FOR THIS . THE CAR WAS ALSO IN A WALTER MATTHAU MOVIE WHICH I HAVE YET TO FIND OUT WHICH ONE. AS WELL AS A RAP VIDEO AND SOME TV ADDS. IT ALSO HAS A SPECIAL REGISTRATION PLATE ON THE DOOR JAM THAT SAYS IT WAS REGISTERED TO THE IRS IN PENNSYLVANIA.
We have the owners handbook and original sales information.
As far as we know this car is original we have only changed the position of the Battery we moved it to the trunk so we could install a modern battery. Most of the chrome was rechromed about a year ago. We are replacing the water pump, as it started to leak.
This Limousine runs, drives and shifts well. Seats 4 to 6 people in the rear, there is the original Heat and AC as well as a cabin divider. The rear interior is an original (we think) beige velour the front Black Leather.
