Cadillac Fleetwood Talisman
1976 Cadillac Brougham Talisman Description
Up for auction is my beautiful 1976 Fleetwood Talisman Brougham. The Fleetwood Brougham "Talisman Edition"was introduced for the first time in October 1973 as a '74 model. The Fleetwood Talismans represented Cadillacs Ultra Luxury Series for the mid seventies decade. It was quite simply Cadillacs finest offering at the time. 1974 production totals were : 1,898 cars built. 1975 saw 1,238 cars built. And 1976 the final year of production saw 1,200 cars built. So in reality the "76 model was the rarest year as most people think the "74 version was the rarest. The Talisman Ultra Luxury Option added $1,813.00 to the base price of $10,445.00 standard Brougham price MSRP. This particular example is pristine, ll original unmolested factory stock. The all orig. interior is simply gorgeous. Perfect showroom condition "As New". The exterior is super straight, ust free .All chrome bumpers and ext. trim are very good to excellent cond. I know this car has been garage kept most of its entire life and still has the rear quarter panel extensions "orig. rubber fillers in excellent cond. Amazingly still has the orig. plastic chrome finish bead moulding around edges of rear body fillers. The pa,int color is metallic silver and in very good shape, igh gloss all areas. The thickly padded elk grain vinyl roof is also in perfect orig. cond. Thi grand old lady runs very smooth & quiet and just floats down the road like riding on a cloud of air. This '76 Talisman has the softest, moothest suspension I've ever seen in a passenger car and I've owned over 50 Cadillacs in my lifetime most of them Fleetwoods from 1963 to 1992. The car handles very well for a 5,200 LB hulk of Detriot iron. This Luxury liner is fully equipped with all factory options offered that yea, except the Astroroof. All equipment on this car is in proper working order except the Air Conditioning uni, which does not blow cold air. It blows room temp. air. Presently I have too many restoration projects on going and haven't had a chance to check out the AC system. Things I've Replaced since I've had the car: New battery, new alternator, complete engine tune up,new brake, all four wheels, oil change, arb cleaned & adjusted. I am kind of reluctant to give her up, ut I simply must reduce the size of my classic car collection substantially.I am offering it at a very attractive reserve price, bout half of the fair market value of $17K for a car in this condition and very low 38,000 miles. There is a buy it now option if you want to grab it before you're possibly out bidded. I want this want this grand old regal lady to go to someone who appreciates "old fashioned "pure Luxury. This car will pamper you. It's gets a lot of attention from on lookers wherever I drive it. She's been a crowd pleaser at regional car shows and won 1st place in Best Original 70"s. Good luck on the bidding. Please don't bid on this car unless you are Serious and have sufficient funds available at you disposal. For further info & questions contact Edwin Caddy man 49. wealthsuccessin@yahoo.com 619-748-1306.
