1941 Cadillac Convertible 62 series NATIONAL 1st PLACE WINNER
1941 Cadillac convertible Description
1941 CADILLAC CONVERTIBLE
Over a decade ago, this won First place nationally by the Classic Car Club of America. It has held up remarkably well after being highly restored mechanically and cosmetically. It will still stop people at shows but now can be used for going places.
The paint has held up beautifully with few touchups. The usual bubble's found in older paint in the lower panels has never happened. The panels are laser straight and the trunk, hood and doors shut nicely. The chrome is still in excellent condition. All the body rubber was replaced and still soft. The glass is all in nice condition. The under side of the car was restored and still is nice with some road film from driving.
The leather interior has held up well with minimal use. The top bows are beautiful chrome and the top is still bright with no stains. The power top works fine. The seats, door panels and carpets have a great look. The dash is lovely. The steering wheel has acquired a couple of cracks. The interior trim chrome is excellent.
The V8 motor starts and runs like a watch. The transmission shifts nice and tight. The clutch works smoothly. The brakes and suspension are excellent. It has older, nearly unworn bias-ply tires. The engine compartment could possibly win someshows.
The trunk is finished to a high standard with an original look. It includes the fender skirts with the embossed Cadillac emblem. What seems to attract most people to this car is the color. A lovely 1941 Cadillac Convertible.
