1970 Cadillac DeVille Description

1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible
Last of the rear wheel drive Caddy convertibles.
Relisted due to a non-paying bidder. Please do not bid if you cannot complete the transaction.
I have just had the air conditioning system gone through by a noted Dallas area shop. They have replaced the compressor (original style), hoses, beltsand all components needed to have the system operate on R134a refrigerant. While this was an expensive upgrade, this make this car one of the few vintage Cadillacs that you will find that you will enjoy driving despite the hot outdoor weather.
I have owned this Cadillac for 3 years now and am only selling now because I am losing my storage space.
It shows very well and it drives great. It goes down the freeway at 80+ mph without any problem and without any wobble.
It is a rust free car and the paint is in excellent condition.
In the original color combination of a San Mateo Red exterior with white leather interior asfeatured in the DeVille advertisement from that era shown below:
Featured equipment includes the Dayton Wire Wheels, 472 cubic inch V8 Engine, Tilt & Telescope Steering Wheel, Twilight Sentinel Headlights, AM/FM Radio, Power Disc Brakes, power seat etc.
All power windows operate properly and the fitment with the top is great (not always the case with these cars).
The power top goes up and down as it should and there is no wind leak when in the up position.
The tires are in excellent shape.
The clock does not work.
Owners manual included.
While this car is not in concours condition, it is in excellent condition for its age. It is a great car to haul a large group around in (6 seat belts).
Clear Texas title in my name in hand. I will include the 1970 Texas plates if the new owner wants them.
