This 1980 Cadillac Deville is located in our Louisville KY showroom. The Deville was first a trim level offered by Cadillac with the first car to bear the name came in 1949. A well equipped Series 62 which is still one of the most sought after cares today. The Deville was kept in production until 2005 when it saw its end as the car market was turning away from bigger V8 sedans. The 6th Gen was released in 1977 and believe it or not was actually a tad bit smaller. The 1980 model saw the greatest change in style for the 6th GEN. The nose was lower and much more aerodynamic with the tail end being a touch higher. The grill is reminiscent of the Rolls Royce's of yesterday. That grill was actually cast again in 1989 on the Brougham. This white beauty is a great example of how these cars were made with the exterior and interior being in great condition. The exterior has been well maintained with a red pen stripe accenting the long body lines. The bumper has been filled which was something that had to be done on these cars. The chrome bumpers are in excellent condition with no signs of wear with a great shine. The vinyl half top is in great condition and gives the car a classic look. Under the hood is the original 368 carburated V8 which has plenty of torque to get move this piece of Americana down the road. Open the door and the classic 80's interior is in magnificent condition with the red piping bringing the outside in. The front bench seat is even more comfortable than it looks with the all of the padding and springs being in excellent shape. The options on this 80 Deville are endless including ; AC, AM/FM Radio, Cruise, Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Tilt, Seat Belts, White Wall Radial Tires, and Leather Interior.
