1956 Cadillac Eldorado Description

Here is a rare opportunity to own a 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Seville that has been parked inside a dry local barn since 1969! This is a true "Barn Find" classic. I am posting this car for a friend & can put you in touch with him to answer any questions I am unable to. Please email with anything you would like to know that isn't answered below. Car has Clear WA State Title.
Original 365ci. V8 and Automatic Transmission (Hydra-matic Jetaway). 91K Original Miles on this car with dates of last service performed in 1969 documented on tag inside door jamb. Battery was put in it and all interior lights came on but starter would not engage. Highly optioned car including: Power brakes, ower Steering, ower Windows & Seats. Also equipped with Autronic Eye auto headlights. Original interior is in very nice condition including the seats, eadliner, ash, teering wheel, tc. Car is complete & radio/speaker is included but not installed. Original jack/instructions still in trunk. Glass is good as well. Chrome would require re-plating to be perfect but is all there. Spare grille that will be included also.
I have tried to include several pictures of underneath the car to show how solid it is. The floor pans and trunk are all solid. The ONLY rust on the car is located in front of the rear wheels in the quarter panels on both sides and passenger side upper drip rail which I have also included pictures of. These spots are very minor as you can see. Body is straight & original paint shows well.
Car rolls freely but tires are weather checked & will need replaced once Cadillac is road worthy. Brakes don't appear to work. Sabre wheels are in restorable condition (Three currently on car, ourth is in trunk as pictured). With production numbers at a mere 3,900 for the 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Seville, his makes a complete/untouched survivor such as this one desirable for someones collection.
Though lacking provenance there is history behind this one as well. Allegedly owned by Dave Beck until he sold it to his barber for $1,900. It is purported to be that sale that sent him to McNeil Island for Tax Evasion. At this point Jimmy Hoffa took over control of the Teamsters Union.
Buyer is responsible for all Shipping & Handling Costs/Arrangements. Car is sold as a non running project in "as-is" condition with NO warranty written or implied. $1,000 non refundable deposit through Paypal required within 24hrs of auction end and the remainder is required within 7 days of auction end & Buyer/Seller can discuss payment options (wire transfer is preferred, ashiers check, r cash is acceptable as well) I have the right to end auction early at anytime. KM Transport is a local shipping company & seller is willing to deliver Cadillac to their yard to make it convenient for buyer.
I have tried to describe car to the best of my knowledge and as you can see from my feedback over the years all is positive including classic car sales. My listings are lengthy but I try to be detailed. This is not my car but I was able to be there when it was pulled out of the barn & saw daylight for the first time in nearly 50yrs! What a neat experience. The pictures above I have taken and they are current. Truly is the real deal & if I had an extra spot in the garage this would be in my personal collection right now instead of posted here! Please feel free to email me & I can put you in touch with the owner who can answer anything else in detail. Thank you
