1955 Chevy 2 door wagon 210 model project
1955 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description
1955 Chevy 210 model 2 door wagon project.First, this car is laser straight, no bondo, no patch panels. The black paint looks beautiful from 10 feet. But, the paint is failing in several spots. The driver door is the worst, but there are also a few spots on the quarter panels (mainly on top, above the taillights). You could probably get away with just repainting the door and still have a nice driver after you get done putting it together. The car will need to be repainted if you want to end up with a show car.The liftgate probably should be repainted as well. It was missing when I got the car. The idiot painter I hired to paint it to match didn't put any hardener in the clear. His excuse was that he was out of the product. He also didn't bother to fix a small ding. Jeez! The floors do need some work (don't ask me why they weren't done before the paint work). I have a passenger side front pan that goes with the car. The cargo area floor is in great shape, as is the spare tire well. The frame is in nice shape, as are all the body mounts. The original gas tank is still in place. There is no motor, transmission, wiring, brakes, etc. All the mechanical works needs to be done. The rear curved glass is nice, and is temporarily installed (you'll need new rubber). The liftgate glass is included, but is not installed. All the other glass is missing. The quarter window regulators are still installed. The rear seat is in the car.I have a correct '55 split bench front seat with shells and tracks that I will sell separately to the winning bidder for $600.All the dash parts are present. All the stainless beltline trim is included, and is in nice condition (very hard to find for 2 door wagon). I also have the front windshield stainless (not pictured). All the the interior garnish trim comes with the car. Some has been temporarily installed with a few screws, other pieces will be sent loose.I don't have the quarter panel stainless spears, or the door points. They aren't hard to find (same pieces used for 2 door sedan).Includes front and rear core bumpers. Many parts do come with the car, see last pictures. The vintage 15" Cragar SST wheels are in perfect, beautiful condition (but no center caps). The tires are near new (225/70R15).Rolls and steers well, but has no brakes. Your shipper will want to know this. I can help with loading.
