1979 Chevrolet C10 Big 10 Edition 2WD, LWB, Factory 454 Turbo 400 Survivor Truck
1979 Chevrolet C-10 Description
Selling my Survivor 1979 Chevrolet C10 Big 10 with the factory 454 big block with the Turbo 400 transmission. Odometer currently reads a little over 27,xxx miles. I believe that to be original mileage. I have never seen a 454 truck driven that far and still have all of its original equipment under the hood and original interior in great shape. The only non-original components on this truck are a sliding rear window, rear bumper, and CB. This truck had a camper shell on it since day one and was only recently removed prior to me buying the truck. Even still has the original paint on it as well. Seat cover has been on the vehicle since new as well from what I can tell. Original vinyl below is in good shape but starting to separate at the seams.
Factory options on this truck are the Rallye wheels, 454 Big Block Engine, Turbo 400 transmission, A/C(still blows cold), Dual Tanks, Tach and gauges, and Cruise Control. Everything can be verified by the Build Sheet that is in the glove box in mint condition. All paperwork included minus the original window sticker. Since this truck was a LWB with a camper shell, it was never garaged and the paint is somewhat faded but has never been re-painted which is a big plus. ZERO Rust on the body as well. I can not tell you enough how original this truck it. Original carpet in great shape, original floor mats in great shape, door panels in great shape and are tight with pull straps still operational(only some slight fading on the tops of the door panels), engine compartment is very clean including the engine which has never been pressure washed as far as I can tell. Even still has the original tail pipes as well.
Anyway, please look at the pictures and if you have any questions please email me. Asking $7500.00 or best offer for this one of a kind un-molested Factory Big Block C10. Runs and drives real nice and smooth. Really nice driver on the highway and the Air Conditioning still blows cold. Even though this truck is an awesome example of a 1979 Survivor C10, it is 37 years old and not a new car. Prior to my purchase, it passed emissions in California so everything is in order there as well.
Only negatives about the truck is the paint condition, slight transmission fluid leak, and screams for a suspension drop and new catback exhaust. Either way, I have decided to let this project go to finish my 1970 Roadrunner project. Cant handle more than one at a time.
$7500.00 or best offer!!
