This listing is for a 1959 Chevy Apache Stepside, with a rare NAPCO 4x4 PowrPak conversion. It is powered by a 235 Thriftmaster Straight Six with a 4 speed manual transmission. This is the last year that the NAPCO conversion was available from the factory. This particular Apache has had a nice restoration that is just a step below show quality...which is exactly why we bought it. We wanted something clean (she's a southern truck) that we could drive (it ran well and we didn't have to worry about it breaking down) but we didn't have to worry about it being perfect. While some people are taking Apaches and doing restomods, we were thrilled to find that this truck was still in it's original bones but with a clean badass looking restoration. There are a couple of little spots in the paint on the tailgate showing that someone has used it for what it is, a TRUCK. The floor in the cab has had a functional, but not super pretty fix. I am going to get some more detailed pictures of these couple of things and add them to the listing. One thing that we will get done before someone buys it though is adjusting the bench seat on the driver's side to have a little more support. It has a little too much give for these new 19.5" Goodyear tires. The truck comes with a clear title, that does read as ACTUAL mileage. The speedo and therefore odometer have stalled since we've had it, so we're working on that now, but it's probably only been driven 25 miles since that happened. We have the truck for sale locally so we reserve the right to remove this listing. Please do not bid or offer if you cannot meet the payment requirements/timeframe. Coordination and costs of pickup/delivery is the responsibility of the buyer. |
