1988 IROC-Z Low Original Miles
1988 Chevrolet Camaro Description
This is the 4th IROC-Z I have owned. It is my 2nd favorite right behind a 1990 that wasliterallyas if it came off the showroom floor. This 1988 is in great condition. Motor runs strong, transmission shifts well. The sound system is as it was new. Plays tapes as it should. I absolutelylove this car. I have only had the car for about a year and a half. I bought it from a guy in Wisconsin. The previous owner claimed it had never been in rain etc. He claimed to have kept it in a climate controlled garage. He was the 2nd owner. I know it hasn't been in rain since I have owned it. When Ireceived the car I did replace the battery, tires and alternator. The tires I took off were the original but had dry rot in the grooves. I also replaced fuel filter etc. to be on the safe side. AirConditioner has been working great. I love the exterior/interior colorcombination on this car. I bought this to replace a 1989 that actually had all the features such as t-tops, leather etc.. simplybecause I actually enjoyed this 1988 more. I like how it drives and the interior look better than that 1989. Even though the '89 was considered better and had even fewer miles. I am only selling this car due to us moving. We need furniture etc for our new home. Also the wife would like to have a spot in the garage. If we didn't get a biggermortgage to move then I wouldn't be selling. I hate paying interest so I am making the tough decision to sell. If you have ANY questions or concerns about this vehicle then please msg me on here or text me at 801-660-7601 (Ren). That is a Utah cell number but I do live in Texas. Just never changed that number. When I changed the battery I did find rust on the battery housing area. Might have been a leak from a previous battery. Obviously this isn'tnoticeablewithout looking for it. The mileage at the time of this ad is 15,068.6 original miles. I will probably drive this car some before the sale as it is time for an oil change etc. This car is old and is NOT perfect. However, it would be very difficult to find one in this good of condition. Like I said I only have had one better and I bought that one in 2003. I will be honest and answer any questions to the extent possible. But I can't read minds so please ask. I want the buyer to be happy with the purchase or in reality it isn't worth me selling as I am on the fence about selling anyway. Thanks for reading and hopefully this add reaches the right person.
