1988 Chevrolet Suburban Description

After owning my dream toy for 1 year, I must regretfully sell. I originally bought this vehicle to keep in Colorado, but after months of trying to convince my wife she can drive it, it's not happening. This big rig is just more than she is willing to drive. The 3 boys in our house (myself and 2 sons) are not happy, but you know how the old saying goes.... So here it is. I have $14k in it: $11k to buy and transport, and $3k worth of upgrades since purchased. I am willing to let it go for less only because I have found a smaller vehicle that I need to purchase very soon. Here are the details:

• < 130k miles

• 350 motor

• Extremely clean inside and out

• Completely reupholstered

• New headliner

• Cd player

• Rear a/c and heat

• Automatic rear window still works

• New tires (< 500 miles) 315/75/16 BFG AT KO2

• Charged a/c system

• Hellwig Rear Leaf Spring Helper (leveled appearance)

• Re-cored original copper radiator (rather than plastic after market radiator)

• Brakes

• Headlight bulbs

• Transfer case drain/refill using ATF fluid

• Front and Rear Diff drain/refill

• 195 degree thermostat

• Radiator hose and belts

• New Alternator

  She starts great, and runs great but needs head gaskets (normal). The oil is still black and spotless as this was just recently diagnosed. If I were keeping, I would complete this maintenance and continue to enjoy as nothing else is needed.
