While she’s no trailer Queen, with some stone chips and little marks from being driven to shows, she is still a trophy winner and head turner at any event you cruise into, as well as being a fantastic driver too! An estimates 3,800 miles of local and regional cruising under her fat Hoosier tires, means she has been proven and reliable on many a road trip, and has all the kinks from being restored worked out! The body is clean, straight, and nice from front to back, and is coated in deep Chevrolet Victory Red that is glossy, slick, and shiny from every angle. It’s about 7 years, so it has some blemishes like stone chips, light scuffs, and road debris marks from normal use, but as you can see in the 100 EXTRA –LARGE photos it is nothing that detracts from the overall presentation. Doors shut with an easy push, gaps and overall fit is about as nice as you could ask for, and as you can see in the photos, the body lines stay true from front to back. The truck looks fantastic with freshly installed brand new chrome grille inserts, new chrome bumper, new polished side mirrors, new polished headlamp baskets, chrome door handles, new headlamps, new in-bumper driving lamps, new rubber seals, rear roll pan, tail lamps, and dark tinted side and rear glass. The wicked stance is provided by a rear air system that will allow you to air the truck out at shows, and raise it up to 80psi freeway height in less than 8 seconds from flat! You can drive it lower if you want to as well, as there is plenty of clearance. System works perfectly, and the rear raises level all the time and holds air without leaking down, even after 4 nights fully inflated sitting in the shop. It sits on top of show polished 15” WELD ProSTAR racing wheels up front with Goodyear VIVA2 radials size P205/75R15 on them. Out back, monster ProSTARS are fit with HOOSIER Quick Time 31x18.50x15LT RWL pro street radials. You could easily fit the trendier 22/20 combo size rims on the truck if you prefer to follow the crowd, but the Pro Street vibe the truck gives off turns everyone’s head at the car shows. Wheels looks fantastic, and are polished to perfection with no damage or disrepair. Tires are in great condition all around, and have at least 70% of the useable tread life remaining. Glass is in great condition, with no cracks, chips, or damage. It has deep tinted side and rear windows, and lightly banded windshield. Windows go up and down with ease thanks to new channels, regulators, fuzzies, and scrapers. All of the seals and rubber weather stripping on the truck is in great condition, with no damage, dry rot, or brittleness. The tonneau cover on the truck is in great condition, with only a few tiny marks to show from normal use. It is quite water repellent, and has an aluminum frame fixed to the bed for a clean look. Bed itself has been raised in the center to account for the notched frame, and the whole thing treated to a light coating of Duraliner rust preventative to make it scratch and rust resistant. Tail gate opens and closes as it should, and is clean both inside and out. Overall, the outside of the truck is a head turner, and will have people waving and giving you a thumbs up everywhere you go. It is clean, ready to show, and you could win a prize with it without so much as wiping off a bug mark RIGHT NOW. Open the doors, and you met by a one of kind interior that combines luxury materials and exceptional finish out to create a perfect environment for driver and passenger to cruise in. Rich, two-tone brown leather bucket seats for driver and passenger are BOTH 6-way power adjustable, have heated seat switch functionality and power, and are in really nice condition with only the light wear, patina, and normal signs of use you would expect of a high-grade saddle type leather. The luxury continues with a full quilted leather center console that holds two stainless cup holders, and the cubby for the HURST Pro Ratchet shifter. Quilting continues on the fully finished headliner and the steering column wrap, and everything else gets treated to a supple leather-wrapped padded covering, including padded A-arms, full back panel, padded dash, padded gauge surround backing plate, padded dash cap with chrome air vents, padded and custom stitched door panels with speaker inserts, and full front dash panel. It is all in excellent condition, and is a top-quality, OEM style finish throughout. Wall to wall custom cut carpeting was installed over layers of DynaMAT for sound and heat proofing, and is in excellent condition, as are the custom cut and banded kick panels. Chrome glove box unlocks to reveal a giant, lined cubby for storing anything you want. Everything about the interior is top-notch, and it is some seriously great leather work that catches everyone’s attention at a show or on cruise night. An iDidIt steering column is custom wrapped in quilted leather, and has polished arms for tilt and turn signal functions, as well as a polished hazard pull switch. It gets topped by a custom billet wheel in matching leather wrap that has 67 on the horn button. Taking center stage in the console is a PIONEER AVIC F90BT audio center with AM/FM/USB/SAT/HD READY/DVD/NAV/and BACKUP CAMERA. Everything works as it should, and the navigation functions perfectly as well. The stereo has an amazing sound via the array of hidden speakers in the truck, and the backup camera works perfectly about 92.5% of the time, which is about as good as they get these days! A MAX PERFORMANCE temperature gauge lets you keep tab on engine temps, while a FIRESTONE gauge monitors the air ride pressure. An iequus fuel gauge tells you when it is time to add gas, and an extra-large AUTOMETER speedometer and tachometer are mounted in the gauge pod where the factory spot would be. The speedo is not currently hooked up, but everything else appears to be working like it should. A GPS measured 70mph, shows the tach at just 2900rpm, so easy highway cruising is a breeze in this truck. With a mild shift kit, the 350 turbo transmission sends power back to the GM 10 bolt, and makes in-town driving a blast from red light to red light. Power comes from a GM Performance built HO block with VorTech heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carb, and Edelbrock chrome air cleaner. It is a mild build with an estimated 330HP and 380TQ according to the GM website. It is equipped with a serpentine belt system, chrome valve covers, Taylor 409 series racing wires, hi-flow water pump, GM alternator, and has been professionally wired and cleanly installed into the bay. An aluminum 4-core radiator with dual electric fans keeps things cool, and the trans cooler is mounted up in front of it to get maximum air flow when cruising. It does NOT run hot, and can be driven daily without issue, as I have been doing for the past month while my shop truck was getting some work done. It starts and idles cleanly and easily, and has a killer sound from the straight pipes feeding the dual Flowmaster cans. Power is more than enough to have fun with, and it is a blast to drive on long cruises or short trips into town. Power Steering and Power Brakes are in great working order, and the front disc/rear drum set up is balance to stop things without any odd pulling or wander. Front clip is from a 1970 Chevy NOVA and has new bushings, bearings, and poly parts throughout to make it drive tight. There is no adverse slop in the wheel, and handling is clean and crisp both in town and on the highway. Underside is finished in chassis black, and while clean and solid, it is not going to get parked over a car show mirror. It is just a solid, straight, and clean undercarriage on a truck that has been driven, not trailered. The truck has not leaked, wept, or smoked while we have had it, and I have driven it almost every day for the past two weeks on short and longer trips without issue. I would guess that I put at least 350 miles on this thing, and I wouldn’t hesitate to drive it anywhere.
