1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Description

1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu

Malibu Wagon - 350 V8 - Rallye Wheels - Video & 75+ Photos

Thanks for checking out my 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Station Wagon, great car, in nice condition, was built to drive to be used and enjoyed. You don’t see station wagons that often, especially in this body style, 1966-67 Chevelles are my favorites actually in any model in the Chevelle line, from the 1960’s and 70’s, 1967 is it. I am a big fan of long roofs and Muscle cars, and if you are looking at this one, I am sure you are to, this is the best of both worlds. I grew up with these cars, my parents, owned them, my grandparents had them. The first wagon I remember our family having was a 1969 Impala wagon, about the same color actually with a blue interior, anyways, we went to the drive-inn theatre, and I had a little bed made in the rear, I was about 5 years old. All the sudden we pull in and get parked, and I notice the inside hidden spare tire area was starting to move I was freaked to say the least, they put a guy inside there, so he could sneak into the movie, it was pretty funny, chepskates, lol. Anyways, this is a great car, floors, frame, are all in very good shape, looks great. The floors and frame are in great shape, no signs of any repairs, no signs of any accidents, inside aprons, truck drop offs, filler panels, no rust bubbles in the jams or body, everything look very good. The only rust I saw on the car is up under the battery box, looks like it was repaired from above, but you can see some areas below it. I shot a video of the car inside and out, so take a look at it as well, check out the pictures, and give me a call if you have any questions if you need any information. Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085

The body is in great condition the paint is in nice overall, looks straight down the sides, panels all seem to line up nicely. A really good polish in the future would make it look even nicer, but overall it is a good looking car, that you could take to any cruise-in or show. That actually is the first time I ever saw this Chevelle, earlier this summer, a friend of mine who owned it for a few years, but I had only seen pictures, never in person. I don’t go to shows often, so I showed up at a car show, and there it was, looked great along all the other cars, you don’t see wagons that often though, so very refreshing to see this one, few months later, I ended up owning it. You will see in photos and video there are some small chips and minor scratches that have been touched up, you have to look close, but there are a few. The car last summer went on a 1500 mile cruise here in the Pacific Northwest with a bunch of other classics, so it has been driven, but overall a nice solid hard to find 1967 Malibu. The glass is all in good shape, but you can see small scratches on the side windows, if the window tint was off it, then you probably wouldn’t notice, they show up more. The front windshield is nice, but you can see some small divots, not chips from years of being driven, I show close shots in video. There is one small line from the wiper path on the drivers side, very minor, might be able to be buffed off, it is very minor. The trim looks good on the car as well. You will notice that some of the bright work, the chrome is starting to age a little, also the door felts and rubbers are aging, and some have some paint over spray on them, they need to be changed out, good winter project.

Mechanically it is in pretty nice condition. Under the hood: rebuilt 350 with 194 heads, Thumper cam, headers, dual exhaust, sound great, new Quick Fuel 600 CFM carb on a Performer manifold, rebuilt TH350 w/shift kit & 2500 RPM stall converter, new aluminum radiator, new power steering box, new master cylinder & booster. Lowered 2" for the perfect stance, has new 15X7 Rallye Wheels, caps and trim rings, with fairly new BFG 215/65/15 Radial T/A’s, with about 95% tread. Also upfront you can see new springs as well not cut springs. Things it could use mechanically, I noticed the front shocks are older, they work, but they could be replaced, I notices a few small transmission seepage leaks, around the trans pan, maybe a drip on the ground every once in a while, but notice there is some dampness around components. Mechanically it is in pretty good shape, I’m sure it will need little things here and there, they always do, but it is very dependable, and in pretty nice shape.

The interior is pretty clean, for sure you will let your wife or girlfriend drive it, it is a perfect date car. New carpet, seats are older, but looks nice, no rips or tears, but has some age, cushion and padding looks great. The door panels all look to be in very good shape. The dash pad is nice, all the bright work across the dash is in nice condition. It has been upgraded to a tilt column as well. The steering wheel is in great condition, horn button is nice, but the horn is not currently working. If you look at the radio it looks original, but it is a Retro unit, AM/FM with MP3 cord and speakers front and back. Headliner is new, and looks very nice. The power windows all work, but you have to do it with each individual door, the main switch on the drivers side will not operate the other windows correctly. There is supposed to be some small trim pieces around the rear side windows inside in the rear are missing. The rear window does roll down with the key, and there is a switch underneath dash, but I need to look at it, when I was doing video it all the sudden stopped working, but the key does work with it. Overall take a look at the interior, it is clean, non smoker.

I have been selling classic cars here on eBay since 2003, 13 years now, with around 750 classic cars sold over the internet. What I love about these old cars, is that I get to own some of my favorite cars one at a time, I have turned this passion into a business, but for me it is an awesome time to enjoy the cars themselves. It has been such a joy to do business with people all over the world. I have sold multiple cars to many buyers all over from Europe, Dubai, Australia, Japan, Brazil, just to name a few. It has always been a pleasure, getting to know other car enthusiast all over the Continent, especially some that have become very good friends of mine because of our love for cars. I look forward to doing business here on ebay for many years to come, and look forward to meeting some other like minded classic car nuts like myself. If you would like to call me and talk about the car, that would be great, would love to help you out, if you want to call and talk about cars, it would be my pleasure, I am on the hunt for any Interesting classics, odd ball and unique vehicles. Please, come out and personally take a look at it in person, or send a friend or inspector, or transporter, always better if possible to see it with your own eyes, I am close to major airport, and easy to get to. These are classic vehicles, with lots of history, almost years old, so they are used, not perfect, they don’t have warranties, or guarantees, they are as is, where is, nothing else is promised, I can’t possibly explain every little thing about a vehicle in writing, believe me I've tried, lol, seeing in person is always best, I try to give an good description, and normally over 75 photos at least, so you can get a good gauge of what it is, and isn’t.
